Girls Jordans 2017 introducing the first release of Jordan Brand’s 2017 calendar, the Jordan Son of Mars “Black Cat”. By now you’ve already decided on whether you’re going to go after the premium style of the Air Jordan 6 “Blck Cat”, a new take on the classic 1991 retro featuring additional perforations, reflective 3M touches, and a new smoky black outsole unit perfect for a minimalist way to stunt in throughout 2017. This Jordan Brand hybrid takes a similar approach thanks to touches of Black, Anthracite, and Metallic Silver, but accomplishes everything in a different way thanks to a pattern-heavy splash of elephant print throughout.Compare the men’s “Black/Cement” colorway of the Jordan Son of Mars Low closely with the children’s version, and you should notice one small difference. Jordan Brand has taken to nicknaming this Jordan Son of Mars Low as “Grey Mist” but we know what they’re truly paying homage to. Ever since the announcement that the brand was taking an extended break from the Air Jordan 3 Retro we’ve been teased with a number of Black/Cement references on top of other models. The Son of Mars Low is next up, as the model breaks out Air Jordan 3 references on the toecap and heel with a traditional cement elephant print to coincide with a smooth black leather upper and traditional grey tongue – a remnant from the Air Jordan 5.
Nike Air Jordan 2017 is red for a true one-to-one match of the famous colorway on Mike’s third signature. The only difference is the added speckling on the black midsole. What do you think of this Jordan hybrid adopting one of the most famous colorways in Jordan’s history? Check out more photos below and grab your pair on June 10th for $140.Need a hint? Look at the sole. That’s right, the GS version—for reasons unbeknownst to us—adds a green section to the outsole’s heel. Otherwise, the shoe remains the same as the adult sizing, featuring the iconic Air Jordan 3 colorway. Both men’s and kid’s sizing of this latest Son Of Mars Low can be found at select Jordan Brand retailers globally right now.Jordan Brand and Spike Lee have a long-standing relationship based on the iconic commercials directed by the Brooklynite and starring his Mars Blackmon character and Michael Jordan. The ‘It’s Gotta Be The Shoes’ slogan helped sell some of the first Jordan signature models and Spike was rewarded with a number of hybrid silhouettes that combined the first numbered models advertised in the legendary TV spots. The Jordan Son of Mars features inspirations from the Air Jordan 3, Air Jordan 5, Air Jordan 6, and Air Jordan 20 and will release in a new “Fire Red” colorway in a full family size run on February 1st, 2017.The Jordan Son of Mars Fire Red takes a simple approach with the Air Jordan 5 “Fire Red” immediately coming to mind. A white base is accented by Pure Platinum elephant print, an icy outsole, and touches of black and Fire Red throughout.

The vibrant Hot Lava hue is showing up literally everywhere this summer on Nike and Jordan sneakers. So many that the question is not what Jordan or Nike shoe will use Hot Lava this year, but which ones won’t. The next sneaker to be highlighted by the neon red colorway is the Jordan Son of Mars Low, which we see in here in a similar look as the upcoming Air Jordan 7 GG in white with black, grey, and Hot Lava accents. Unlike the AJ7, the Son of Mars will come in full family sizing from men’s down to toddlers. This “Black Cat” look features elephant print on the toe, heel, and strap to add more texture while micro-perforations hit the mudguard and the Air Jordan 4’s mesh cage helps ventilate the tongue.
